1. What is meditation and what is its purpose?
2. Before reading this chapter, what did you think meditation was?
3. Do you think we can hear the voice of God when we meditate? Is this something that still occurs?
4. What do you think of using your imagination during meditation? How do you plan on using it in the future, how have you used it in the past?
5. What does meditation look like? Where? When? In what position?
6. Foster suggests four forms of meditation. What are your thoughts on them? Are they helpful?
7. What other forms of meditation have you practiced that you have found helpful?
8. What words in this chapter impacted you the most? Why?
